Its team of knowledgeable undergraduate students can provide you with any information you need to make your visit enjoyable and memorable. Other services in the Visitor Center include videos and exhibits give prospective students a close-up look at life on campus.

Terrapin Tours
Get a student-led perspective of campus, offered on most weekdays except on university holidays.
Maryland Information Sessions
Attend a group session with an admission representative, followed by a tour. Offered on most weekdays.

Prospective Student Fall Open House
Talk to faculty, meet current students, take a campus tour and learn about Maryland’s academic and student services at our Fall Open House.
Reservations encouraged.
Terp for a Day
Meet current undergraduates and spend a day attending classes and participating in extracurricular activities. This program is not available in the summer.
Reservations are required at least two weeks in advance.
Self-guided tour
Can’t make it to the Visitor Center during normal business hours? Grab your phone and your walking shoes and take an audio tour of our campus’s iconic sites.

If none of these options are convenient for you, please visit the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to talk with an admission counselor. They are available on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday, noon-4 p.m., except university holidays.
